Kenya Cultural SafariDay 1 – Nairobi/ Amboseli (Appx 4 hrs drive)

On Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a NATURE EXPEDITIONS representative and drive South East of Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, one of the most popular parks on the Tanzania border offering unique spectacle; the backdrop is the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain proudly standing at 19,344ft, and sometimes known as the “ROOF OF AFRICA”. Lunch at your Camp. Afternoon proceed for a visit to a Maasai Village to get acquitted with their day to day life and unique culture. Day 2 – Amboseli

Spend a further day in Amboseli National Park, a full day game drive. Here you can see a proliferation on Giraffe and Elephants. The 56 species in this park include Baboon, velvet Monkey, Lion, Cheetah, Zebra, Wildebeest and Grant’s gazelle.  All meals at the Lodge. Overnight at AMBOSELISENTRIM CAMP (full board).

Day 3 – Amboseli/Mt. Kenya (Approx 7 hrs drive)

After breakfast drive via Nairobi to the Mt Kenya region to arrive in time for lunch at your Lodge. Afternoon proceed for a visit to a Kikuyu Village. Dinner and overnight at NARO MORU RIVER LODGE (full board) www.naromoruriverlodge.com

Day 4 – Aberdares/Samburu (Appx 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast, we depart this morning for Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. Late afternoon game viewing drive with a visit to a Samburu Village to learn more about their culture.  until sunset. Day 5 - Samburu

Spend a further day with full day game drives. There will be the reticulated giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Warthog, Gerenuk, Oryx, and if you are lucky, a Leopard.  In the evening there is the opportunity to hear a talk about one of the tribes - the photograph these colorful people. You will also have a chance to visit a Borana Village to learn of their culture. Dinner and overnight at SAMBURU SOPA LODGE  (full board).

Day 6 – Samburu/Baringo (Appx 7 hrs drive)

After breakfast, check out and drive with picnic lunch boxes to Lake Baringo. You will arrive in time for check inn followed by a time at leisure. Dinner and overnight at BARINGO COUNTRY CLUB (half board) http://www.sunafricahotels.com/pg_lbc.php

Day 7 – Baringo

Spend a further day in Baringo. You will go for a boar ride, a visit to the Reptile Park and a visit to the Gemps Village. All meals included and overnight at BARINGO COUNTRY CLUB (half board)

Day 8 – Baringo/Kakamega

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Kakamega to arrive in time for check in at your Hotel followed by lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at RONDO RETREAT (full board) www.rondoretreat.com

Day 9 – Kakamega

After breakfast, check out and proceed to the Kakamega Forest for a full day exploration of the only tropical rain forest in Kenya. There are plenty of birds, butterflies and animals such as Zebras, Colobus, blue and red tailed monkeys and olive baboons. Over 30 varieties of snakes including the deadly gibbon viper, Jamesons mamba and black mamba are found here among other animals. All meals included and overnight at RONDO RETREAT (half board)

Day 10 – Kakamega/Kisumu

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kisumu City via the Lwanda Magere site. Lwanda Magere is the Luo warrior who was killed and turned into a stone. You will arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon have a tour of Kisumu to the Impala Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at IMPERIAL HOTEL (full board) www.imperialhotel.co.ke 

Day 11 – Kisumu – Kogelo Village

After an early breakfast from Kisumu, depart to Siaya District, Nyang'oma Division, Kogelo Village to visit the Kenyan home of the President of the United State Of America, His Excellency President Barack Hussein Obama. We will get to interact with the people in the home including his Grand Mother, Mama Sarah Obama. You will have picnic lunch. Depart to "Kit Mikayi" {in the local Luo dialect the Stone of the "first wife"} Kenya's most dramatic archaeological site, a vast granite rock tower. The Stone is about 70 to 80 ft tall and is located 30kms Far East of Kisumu city and 1km from Kisumu Bondo road. The area is a leansing area with attatchment to Luo Tribe which is the tribe of Obama senior. . Dinner and overnight at IMPERIAL HOTEL (full board).

Day 12 – Kisumu / Lake Nakuru (Approx 6 hrs drive)

After breakfast morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a protected game sanctuary for endangered species such as the Black/ White rhino, Rothschild Giraffe among other usual game such as the leopard and Lion. The park is world-renowned for its millions of pink Flamingoes found around the lake.  Lunch at the Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge (full board) – www.lakenakurulodge.com

Day 13 – Lake Nakuru/ Maasai Mara (Appx 5 hrs drive)

After early breakfast, morning drive across the Rift Valley escarpment to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Nyumbu Camp. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at NYUMBU CAMP (full board). www.maasaimara-nyumbu.com

Day 14 – Maasai Mara

Spend a further day in the Mara during which you will have the opportunity to explore this great reserve in depth.  You will see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, topi, grant's and Thomson's gazelle.  The Mara is the scene of annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses.  All meals included.  And overnights at NYUMBU CAMP (full board).

Day 15 – Maasai Mara/Nairobi (Appx 5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, you will arrive in time for lunch on own and later you will be transferred to the Airport for your departure flight.
